Building Collective Impact: Li Foundation Engages in PAA and SSV Collaborative Learning Exchange

Li Foundation was pleased to participate in the recent learning journey co-hosted by Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA) and the Sustainable Social Value (SSV) Collaborative, comprising Tencent SSV Organization, Yili Group, and Lenovo. This initiative, the first of many to come, brought together 22 representatives from leading corporations and corporate philanthropies from China for two days of exchange on collaborative philanthropy and impact investing.

Our Chairman, Lionel, attended the program as a participant, joining peers in exploring how Singapore organisations integrate purpose, capital, and partnerships to drive meaningful social impact. Delegates engaged with the Temasek Trust ecosystem — including Temasek Foundation, the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP), and abcIMPACT — as well as ecosystem players like Tote Board, Convergence Blended Finance, and Temasek Holding’s Community Stewardship and Impact Investing teams.

As part of the program, PAA, together with AVPN and The Majurity Trust, co-hosted a panel on collaborative philanthropy, sharing practical models for building trust and enabling collective action across Asia. This was followed by a roundtable with PAA members — DBS Foundation, SHEIN, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Macquarie Group Foundation, and Tsao Pao Chee (TPC) — where participants exchanged insights on emerging opportunities, challenges, and best practices in corporate philanthropy.

Li Foundation is honoured to have been part of this learning journey, and we are grateful to PAA, the SSV Collaborative, and all participating partners for creating such a rich platform for exchange. Together, we remain committed to advancing collaborative philanthropy and strengthening the corporate philanthropy ecosystem in China and across Asia.
