Recently, a delegation from the China Global Philanthropy Institute (CGPI) and the Chairman of Li Foundation, Lionel, met with senior leaders from Temasek’s social impact ecosystem, including the Chairman of Temasek Trust, Ho Ching.
During the meeting, both sides introduced their respective work and had a broad-ranging discussion on the prospects for future collaboration. This builds upon existing efforts by Temasek Foundation to engage China, such as the recently launched Green Future Innovation Challenge, as well as the Philanthropy Asia Alliance by Temasek Trust, which mobilises philanthropic capital and multi-sector partnerships to build a better Asia.
Li Foundation is honoured to have been part of the discussion and looks forward to a successful partnership between CGPI and the Temasek social impact ecosystem.
The book showcases how the participants challenged their limits and conquered the World Marathon Challenge and North Pole Marathon to inspire people to challenge their own limits and pursue their dreams boldly.
The book tells the stories behind the event which saw the largest number of people in history running 1045km round Taiwan in 19 days.
