On 21 March 2025, Li Foundation was delighted to welcome board members from the Lions Prostheses Centre (LPC) for a warm and engaging visit. The delegation included Lions Club of Singapore District Governor Shirley Lee, PDG Chairman SK Ho, PDG Eric Ng, PDG William Kwok, and PDG David Lee—respected leaders who have been at the forefront of LPC’s impactful work in restoring mobility and dignity to individuals with limb loss.
Li Foundation and LPC share a strong and growing partnership grounded in a common commitment to community empowerment and inclusive support. In 2023, Li Foundation was proud to support two of LPC’s documentary films as Platinum Sponsor, amplifying the centre’s mission and the voices of those it serves.
One of these films, “Walk Again,” was submitted to the Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival 2024, an initiative by Li Foundation to spotlight powerful stories of social impact from across the region. The film was selected as one of top eight finalists from over 70 submissions, and was awarded a USD 1,000 prize. “Walk Again” moved audiences with its honest portrayal of resilience, courage, and hope—values that lie at the heart of LPC’s work.
The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on these shared successes and explore new ways to collaborate. It was a meaningful exchange that reaffirmed both organisations’ dedication to supporting those in need through compassion, innovation, and partnership.
As we look to the future, Li Foundation remains committed to walking alongside partners like LPC to drive lasting, inclusive change—one story, one step at a time.
