The pursuit of transformative change recently led Li Foundation to an enriching interaction with Ms. Ruixi Hao, Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The dialogue encompassed a diverse range of initiatives, like the China Global Philanthropy Institute (CGPI) and the Asia Community Foundation (ACF), among others. Ms. Hao shared valuable insights into the effectiveness of CGPI in utilizing resources to address global issues and how ACF strategically empowers Asian communities.
In addition, a key discussion revolved around an envisioned initiative aimed at enhancing the impact of Chinese philanthropy, fostering interactions with global philanthropic leaders, and driving the development of the Chinese philanthropic sector. The proposed plan encompasses the provision of dedicated resources, consultancy support, and capacity-building programs to achieve these goals.
