Run Taiwan Island Just Now

After a six-year hiatus, the Run Taiwan Island Ultramarathon Challenge returned during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake. Over the course of 19 days, 69 dedicated athletes conquered the grueling 1,046-kilometer journey around the island of Taiwan.

As one of the core sponsors, the Li Foundation played a pivotal role in supporting this extraordinary challenge. LiF Chairman Lionel, himself one of the first to ever successfully complete the Taiwan Ultramarathon, made a special trip to Taipei to personaly congratulate the finishers and present awards.

Speaking at the celebration banquet, Lionel shared his heartfelt reflections: “Running brought us together, and through it, we fell in love with Taiwan’s stunning landscapes. We are deeply grateful for the warmth and dedication of the volunteers and have come to cherish the island’s incredible food and drink…”

He extended his blessings to every brave finisher who completed the journey safely, while also expressing his sincere gratitude to Mr. Shao, the organizing committee, and the volunteers for their tireless efforts.

Thanks to their collective spirit and determination, this run around Taiwan became more than just a race—it became a celebration of endurance, connection, and shared humanity.
