This was a meaningful sharing session as Quantedge Foundation and Li Foundation sat together to have an overview of both our organisations. Quantedge Foundation, a philanthropic foundation established by the principals of Quantedge Capital (a fund management company) to support a wide range of charitable causes.
Through this session, we learnt about each others beliefs and values and came to a common consensus that we hope to give everyone an equal opportunity to maximize his/her potential, regardless of his/her socio-economic background.
Quantedge team also shared on their ongoing programs as well as their upcoming ones, working with local universities such as Singapore Management University (SMU) to grant a full scholarship to guarantee students who are capable yet unable to continue their education due to various circumstances.
Through this workshop, we realised that other than supporting children at their different life stages, we should also look into supporting the older generation too.
The book showcases how the participants challenged their limits and conquered the World Marathon Challenge and North Pole Marathon to inspire people to challenge their own limits and pursue their dreams boldly.
The book tells the stories behind the event which saw the largest number of people in history running 1045km round Taiwan in 19 days.
