The Majurity Trust (TMT) is a Singapore philanthropic organization working to build a thriving and sustainable society by incubating community-driven solutions to social challenges. They partner with donors, nonprofits, community groups, and social enterprises to identify pressing needs and provide funding, research, and strategic support to address them. TMT also curates funds relating to youth mental health, eldercare, and vulnerable families, as well as building the capacity of charities at various stages of development.
We were delighted to welcome Martin and Jen from TMT to the Li Foundation office, where we engaged in a thoughtful and energising exchange on social issues and philanthropy’s role in addressing them. During the meeting, Li Foundation shared our giving philosophy, values, and upcoming projects, while TMT highlighted some of their current initiatives and focus areas. A key point of discussion was the Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival, one of Li Foundation’s flagship projects that seeks to amplify the voices and stories that showcase Asia’s diverse cultures, innovative spirit, and commitment to positive change. This year’s theme, centred on Youth Mental Well-Being, resonated strongly with both organisations as we affirmed the need for greater awareness and urgent action to tackle this growing issue. Together, we look forward to further collaborations with TMT as we continue building a more caring and resilient society.
