Li Foundation Welcomes Renmin University of China Alumni Association (Hainan)

Recently, the Li Foundation hosted a delegation of alumni and friends from the Renmin University of China (RUC) Alumni Association (Hainan), led by President Qin Jian Guo. Bao Wei and Ma Cheng, Vice Presidents of the RUC Alumni Association (Southeast Asia), accompanied the delegation during their visit.

In a lively and engaging discussion, the delegation exchanged ideas with the Li Foundation and Kamet Capital on a wide range of topics, including the current landscape of Southeast Asian philanthropy, business cooperation opportunities, regional investment environments, and legal and policy frameworks.

Li Foundation Welcomes Renmin University of China Alumni Association (Hainan)

With the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, Hainan and Singapore serve as key nodes in regional trade and development, offering significant potential for collaboration. This exchange not only deepened Hainan alumni’s understanding of the Southeast Asian market but also provided valuable insights for alumni enterprises seeking to operate overseas while fulfilling their social responsibilities.

This visit follows another intensive and fruitful exchange earlier with experts from RUC’s Alumni Services & Resource Development Department and the School of Public Governance. Together, these activities highlight the strong bonds among RUC alumni and their shared commitment—both at home and abroad—to promoting philanthropy and advancing social governance practices.

The Li Foundation will continue to serve as a bridge, connecting China’s top universities with regional resources through Singapore, lighting the way for meaningful collaboration with a heart for the public good.
