Li Foundation takes great pride in commemorating the highly successful charter night of LCS BIFROST, the youngest Lions Club in Singapore, held on June 26, 2023. This momentous event marked the beginning of a remarkable journey for LCS BIFROST as they embarked on their mission to create a meaningful and lasting impact in Singapore’s philanthropic landscape. With the support and guidance from Mr. Lionel Li, Chairman at LIF, we are honored to be a strategic ally to LCS BIFROST and is fully committed to support their noble endeavors.
The charter night of LCS BIFROST was held at the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC), witnessed by the presence of many esteemed guests, including District Governor of Lions Club of Singapore Mr. Ho Sum Kwong and International Director of Lions Club International Mr. Jeff Huang Changwei. Lions from the Beijing Lions Club also graced the event, establishing the event as a platform for the Lions across different regions to foster stronger connections.
Dr. Ada Zhang Xian, LCS BIFROST Charter President, emphasized the core values of “Connection, Integration, Innovation and Impact.” These values reflect LCS BIFROST’s commitment to serve the community, especially the vulnerable populations. The club is dedicated to promote charitable endeavors in arts, culture, sports, and innovative technology, as well as facilitate the integration of new immigrants with the local community. In addition, Dr. Zhang announced an exciting project to capture and share inspiring stories that showcase the remarkable contributions of the Lions Club of Singapore. This initiative aims to document the club’s growth and its impact on the local community, creating a legacy for future generations to appreciate and learn from.
During the charter night dinner, Lionel received the prestigious International President’s Award, a well-deserved recognition of his unwavering Lions spirit and selfless contributions to public welfare. This award symbolizes the commitment and dedication exhibited by LIF in making a positive difference in the society.

The book showcases how the participants challenged their limits and conquered the World Marathon Challenge and North Pole Marathon to inspire people to challenge their own limits and pursue their dreams boldly.
The book tells the stories behind the event which saw the largest number of people in history running 1045km round Taiwan in 19 days.
