As Artificial Intelligence(AI) emerges as one of the most transformative forces in creative expression and storytelling, the Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival 2025 is proud to introduce the Best AI Film Award, a new category recognizing excellence in filmmaking powered by AI technology.
Presented in partnership with our AI Innovation Partner, MiniMax, the award underscores Inspiring Asia’s commitment to innovation and creative discovery. MiniMax, a global leader in generative AI and the creator of Hailuo AI, will contribute as both a partner and judge, providing technical guidance and model/tool support. By bringing their expertise to Inspiring Asia, MiniMax and Hailuo AI open up fresh possibilities for filmmakers to experiment, innovate, and inspire.
This award shines a spotlight on filmmakers who are exploring new forms of storytelling through AI-generated visuals, narratives, and creative workflows. It celebrates bold, inventive approaches where technology and art intersect.
New in 2025, Inspiring Asia also expands with Regional Film Festivals across China, Indonesia, Mongolia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam—broadening opportunities for creativity and storytelling across Asia.
Through the partnership with MiniMax and Hailuo AI, and the introduction of regional festivals, Inspiring Asia 2025 seeks to empower filmmakers across Asia to share their stories with the world—continuing our mission to inspire creativity, collaboration, and social impact through storytelling.
