Recently, the Li Foundation welcomed representatives from HGC Foundation for a warm exchange on shared values, philanthropic priorities, and opportunities for future collaboration.
Guided by its philosophy of “Healthy, Growth, Caring,” HGC Foundation’s work resonates with the Li Foundation’s mission of inspiring and impacting lives by maximising everyone’s potential. This shared commitment provided a meaningful starting point for discussions on how philanthropy can empower individuals and strengthen communities.
During the meeting, the Li Foundation shared its work across its six focus areas, while both organisations exchanged perspectives on emerging social challenges and evolving philanthropic approaches. One area of particular interest was Singapore’s rapidly ageing population and the growing need for innovative eldercare solutions. The conversation also touched on Relay Majulah, a multi-year initiative co-organised by Li Foundation and Lions Clubs of Singapore that embodies Singapore’s enduring spirit of unity, resilience, and giving. With this year’s theme focused on the elderly in our community, we aim to make healthy ageing fun and accessible for all.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both organisations expressing interest in staying connected and exploring opportunities to collaborate on initiatives that promote healthier, more caring, and more resilient communities.
