Under a starlit sky on January 18, 2025, Li Foundation gathered with partners, family, and friends for LIF Night 2025, an evening dedicated to celebration, connection, and shared aspirations. Held at the Singapore Island Country Club, this year’s gathering was a vibrant celebration in Hawaiian style, centered around the theme ‘Feel the Music, Let Loose…'”, setting a relaxed yet purposeful tone for meaningful conversations, recognition of contributions, and a renewed commitment to social impact.
The evening began with Lo Hei, a cherished Chinese New Year tradition symbolizing prosperity and unity. The festive spirit continued as a live band filled the air with music, bringing energy and warmth to the night, perfectly complementing the lively conversations and moments of recognition.
As the night unfolded, leaders in philanthropy and social impact shared their reflections. Zhang Boju, Secretary of Ginkgo Foundation, highlighted the growing role of young leaders in shaping the future of philanthropy, while Yang Kun, President of Lions Club of Singapore Bifrost, emphasized the power of collaboration in building resilient communities.
Another highlight of the evening was the recognition of individuals whose contributions have significantly advanced philanthropy and social impact. The Li Foundation Excellence in Design Award 2024 was presented to Su Ying, the designer behind Inspiring Asia from A.D.A Productions. Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival 2023 received the Communication Design Award at the DNA Paris Design 2024 Awards, a milestone in its journey.
The Li Foundation Annual Award 2024 was awarded to Li Nan, Director of New Markets & Services at Asia Philanthropy Circle (APC), in recognition of her contributions to advancing philanthropy in the region. Reflecting on APC’s collaborative achievements, Li Nan spoke about its role in shaping philanthropy across Asia. Lionel, joined by the past two award recipients, presented the trophy to her in recognition of her leadership and dedication to the sector.
As the evening continued, the celebration took on a personal note with the 18th birthday of William Li. His milestone marked the next generation growing alongside the foundation’s journey, making the night even more special.
LIF Night 2025 was more than a celebration—it was a reaffirmation of the Li Foundation’s mission to empower changemakers, strengthen collaborations, and drive lasting social impact. As the night came to a close, guests departed with renewed energy, inspired by the achievements of the past year and motivated for the work ahead.
With the energy of the night carrying us forward, we step into another year of collaboration, innovation, and lasting impact. Until then, see you at LIF Night 2026!
