On the occasion of Enlight Foundation’s 20th Anniversary in September, Lionel, founder of Li Foundation, was invited to the exclusive Enlight Gathering 2024 in the California Redwoods. This extraordinary gathering brought together up to 100 participants from Enlight’s partner organizations, representing diverse fields such as youth development, education, leadership, social entrepreneurship, mental well-being, climate change, environmental conservation, art, journalism, and philanthropy.
Together with Enlight partners, it was a fabulous opportunity to recharge in nature, connect with familiar and new friends in formal and informal settings, and explore topics related to work, lives, and the future in the community.
The book showcases how the participants challenged their limits and conquered the World Marathon Challenge and North Pole Marathon to inspire people to challenge their own limits and pursue their dreams boldly.
The book tells the stories behind the event which saw the largest number of people in history running 1045km round Taiwan in 19 days.
