Double Ace: Building Bridges and Deepening Partnerships with APC & ACF

Recently, we were honoured to welcome Esther, CEO of Asia Philanthropy Circle (APC), and Sue, CEO of Asia Community Foundation (ACF), to our office for a warm catch-up and engaging discussion.

APC and ACF are sister organisations working in complement to build Asia’s most trusted and impact-driven community of givers. APC, founded in Singapore in 2015, is a network and community of philanthropists collaborating to chart a better future for Asia. On the other hand, ACF is Singapore’s first Asia-focused, independent community foundation launched in 2023 to promote purposeful giving by connecting donors with social impact partners across the region.

During our session, we shared insights into Li Foundation’s giving philosophy and upcoming initiatives, including Relay SG60 by Relay Majulah and the Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival. In turn, APC and ACF presented their highlights of the year and outlined their plans for the future. It was exciting to hear APC’s renewed focus on membership engagement, global partnerships, and a refreshed set of thematic pillars, as well as ACF’s strategies to bridge the funding gap in Asian philanthropy through donor and market development programs.

Li Foundation is proud to be a long-standing partner of both organisations as an active member of APC and a supporter of ACF since its inception. We look forward to deepening our collaboration, exploring new avenues for impact, and contributing to a more vibrant, purposeful philanthropic ecosystem in Asia.
