Recently, Li Foundation had the pleasure of hosting representatives from DBS Bank and DBS Foundation to discuss possible avenues for collaboration. During the exchange, Li Foundation gave a broad overview of our giving philosophy and discussed potential partnerships around two flagship projects: Relay Majulah and the Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival.
Relay Majulah is an annual charity relay and nationwide sports initiative that rallies the people, public, and private sectors to support meaningful social impact programs through donations or participating as runners. Organised in conjunction with Zephyr Running Club, all proceeds raised will be donated to the Community Chest and its network of over 200 charitable programs and initiatives.
On the other hand, the Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival is a platform for social impact storytelling and collaborative philanthropy that Li Foundation has been organising since 2021. Each year, the Festival brings together filmmakers, universities, NGOs, and organizations to present stories on a given theme to inspire action, raise awareness, and spark meaningful dialogue. By showcasing Asia’s diverse cultures and embracing both tradition and innovation, it seeks to illuminate a path toward a more unified and sustainable future.
The book showcases how the participants challenged their limits and conquered the World Marathon Challenge and North Pole Marathon to inspire people to challenge their own limits and pursue their dreams boldly.
The book tells the stories behind the event which saw the largest number of people in history running 1045km round Taiwan in 19 days.
