Champion Every Potential: A Dialogue with Community Chest

Li Foundation recently had a meeting with Mr. Chew Sutat, the esteemed Chairman of Community Chest, philanthropy and engagement arm of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) in Singapore. This was not just a routine interaction, but one that explores potential collaborations and ways to enhance the impact of social service and philanthropy in Singapore and beyond.

Community Chest, also known as 公益金, plays a crucial role in Singapore’s social service sector. Its purpose and operations are closely aligned with NCSS, with the shared goal of ensuring that every person has the opportunity to live a life of dignity within a caring and inclusive society.

Mr. Chew, with his vast experience and deep understanding of community needs, shared valuable insights into the role of Community Chest in fundraising. He elaborated on the organization’s strategic efforts to support communities in need, and how they have been making a difference through their various initiatives. Li Foundation believes in the power of collaboration and is committed to work with organizations like Community Chest to enhance the effectiveness of its philanthropic efforts.

This meeting with Mr. Chew represents a significant step towards greater collaboration in social service and philanthropy. Li Foundation is excited about this partnership and looks forward to working closely with Community Chest and NCSS.
