Founded in 2008, The Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) is the nation’s first leading community foundation and a leading provider of donor-advised funds (DAFs), dedicated to effecting tangible change and advancing philanthropy in Singapore. CFS strives to foster a more compassionate and unified Singapore, bringing together donors, charities, and advisors, they make charitable giving more impactful.
The CFS Chinese New Year Appreciation Luncheon took place on 24th February 2026, to reconnect, give thanks, and celebrate the partnerships that make their work possible. ‘Galloping forward, together’ was the theme as they enter the Year of the Horse with energy, purpose and heart.
Candy, Director of Li Foundation was honored to attend the event and be part of this celebration of partnerships and appreciation. Last year, Li Foundation set up a Life Impact Fund (LIF) with CFS, creating a platform to allow like-minded friends and fellow philanthropists to join us in our giving in Singapore.
The afternoon was made even more meaningful by performances from talented artists from our community partners, MINDSG Ltd and Resound Collective — a powerful reminder that inclusion and opportunity lie at the heart of what we seek to support.
Guest-of-Honour, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Senior Minister of State for Education, Mr David Neo, encouraged us to continue building a “We First” society, one where we uplift one another and advance philanthropy through strong stewardship and partnership.
More than an annual gathering, the luncheon reminds us at LIF that meaningful impact is built on trust, shared purpose and the willingness to journey together.
The book showcases how the participants challenged their limits and conquered the World Marathon Challenge and North Pole Marathon to inspire people to challenge their own limits and pursue their dreams boldly.
The book tells the stories behind the event which saw the largest number of people in history running 1045km round Taiwan in 19 days.
