Celebrating Partnerships and a New Year Journey with ACF

The Asia Community Foundation (ACF) is Singapore’s first independent, Asia-focused community foundation dedicated to promoting purposeful giving across the region. Founded by experienced philanthropists from the Asia Philanthropy Circle (APC) and officially launched in 2023, ACF was established to address key challenges donors face in their giving journeys. It serves as a regional platform that connects donors with social impact partners, catalysing funding to drive meaningful and measurable solutions to Asia’s most pressing socioeconomic and environmental issues.

By pooling resources, insights, and networks, we can go further together than any one organisation alone. We see strong resonance between our values and the ACF’s commitment to purposeful, strategic giving and its focus on addressing Asia’s most pressing challenges. As one of ACF’s pioneer funders, LIF is honoured to support the team in strengthening the foundation’s operations and building a robust platform for collective impact. Our partnership is further reflected through our participation in ACF’s various collavorative funds:

• Inspiring Asia Fund, a donor-led fund strategically designed to address some of the region’s most pressing issues through powerful storytelling as it inspires action, raises awareness, and unites tradition with innovation to shape a more sustainable and inclusive future;
• Investing in Entrepreneurs for Impact Fund, an ACF-led fund to alleviate absolute poverty in Asia through investments in social entrepreneurship. LIF is the Champion donor of the collective working hand in hand with ACF, APC and elea foundattion to leverage experience and passion to inspire and support the learning of a community of donors keen on supporting  entrepreneurs in the region to thrive by mobilising capital across the impact investing spectrum;
• U-Go Fund, another ACF-led fund to provide higher education for talented young women in low-income countries at scale, allowing scholars to increase their earnings for the benefit of themselves, their families, and their communities.
