Asia Philanthropy Circle – Singapore New Year Roundtable

Li Foundation Chairman, Lionel attended the Asia Philanthropy Circle (‘APC’) New Year Roundtable on the 27 January 2022. In this edition of the Singapore Roundtable, the primary agenda was for Singapore-based APC members to catch up with each other after all the year-end festivities and to learn more about causes fellow members are interested in and what they have in common.

APC Acting CEO, Mr. Laurence Lien and COO, Ms. Stacey Choe updated the members on APC projects for Singapore in 2022 and how members can support and collaborate with APC – and each other.

Asia Philanthropy Circle - Singapore New Year Roundtable

Different APC members are at different stages of philanthropy, ranging from those who are starting out, to those who have decades of experience. Each member was given the opportunity to share about one of their most passionate projects in Singapore, or something/someone they want to learn/partner within Singapore. Various projects and experiences were shared, and most centered around topics such as: education, healthcare, supporting racial minorities, people with disabilities, elderly, climate, animals and food waste.

Much were shared in the 2-hour event, and like all events, good times often end in a flash. Nevertheless, we always have the next event to look forward to.

Lionel and Li Foundation wishes all a prosperous year ahead and 2022 will be better!
