The Visionaries session will explore cutting-edge trends and strategies in the evolving landscape of philanthropy as part of the collaboration with the Hong Kong Academy of Wealth Legacy (HKAWL). This private discussion was joined by leading family offices from around Asia, examining the role of philanthropy as an avenue for social impact. Lionel was among other distinguished speakers including the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui, the Honorary Chair of Hang Lung Properties Ronnie Chan, Founder and Co-CEO of OceanX Mark Dalio, and Principal of Rumah Group Kathlyn Tan.
In this fireside chat, moderated by Angel Chia, Executive Director, HKAWL, Lionel shared on Supercharging Progress: ‘What it takes: Scaling, building collaboration and communicating impact’. Showcasing two of Li Foundation’s initiatives – the Inspiring Asia Microfilm Festival and the China Early Childhood Development (ECD) Collaborative Fund, Lionel demonstrated how a great idea can be scaled quickly and how collaborative philanthropy can foster meaningful social change. And through impact communication, these efforts can then reach the right people and drive action.
